It’s safe to say, the lottery is a pretty crowded advertising space. With the rise of online gaming, and loads of commercials coming out of different states about dreaming big or winning jackpots, it can sometimes feel like you’ve seen it all. Well, it turns out you haven’t. Because you have never seen lottery tickets like this before — tickets so fun, they take on a life of their own.

You bet. And they have a LOT to say. Meet our Pennsylvania Lottery Talking Tickets – a pair of lovable, used Scratch-Offs with big prizes and even bigger personalities. Complete with high-tech googly eyes, a slit for a mouth, and a state-of-the-art sock for puppeteering, these tickets are a hilarious duo that always seems to come across the newest Scratch-Off from the Pennsylvania Lottery.

In addition to their playful banter and perfectly-timed jokes, these tickets have the ability to go from 0 – 100 at the slightest notion of danger, thrill, or excitement. These personalities allow us to deliver exciting and entertaining commercials that effectively introduce new Scratch-Offs and communicate the brand strategy of exhilarating fun.

The Talking Tickets live in the human world, but as much as they try, humans can’t see them or hear them. The Talking Tickets started as a singular spot. A fun, one-off idea that was something out of the ordinary. But once we saw how well it was received, it quickly became much more. The results:

The Pennsylvania Lottery is all about exhilarating fun and their Scratch-Offs are no exception. We set out with the goal to get people excited to play new Scratch-Offs and ended up with a new campaign that’s memorable for Pennsylvanians. As we move forward, we continue to use our learnings to create new adventures, introduce more tickets, and tell more stories — with some new ones in the works right now!

We’ve been in the lottery business for a long time. Constantly coming up with new ways to communicate is a challenge we particularly enjoy. And with these new Talking Tickets, it truly feels like we hit the jackpot. *Cue a burst of laughter *
